This 14.9-kilogram amethyst geode formation is characterized by its closed, basin-like shape and dense, violet crystal formation. Despite its compact size, the crystal structure appears massive and concentrated. The crystals are closely packed, creating high light reflection with noticeable color depth.
Particularly noteworthy is the clear delineation between the polished agate outer zone and the exposed amethyst core. The concentric bands document the individual growth phases of the geode and form a visible transition from the outer rock to the crystalline inner structure. The uniform crystal filling throughout the entire indentation ensures a cohesive overall impression.
Formations of this type only occur when a natural cavity is completely lined with crystallizing quartz without structural disturbances. The integrity and color saturation visible here emphasize the quality of this specimen. In this weight class, such a compact and harmonious formation is not self-evident.
Geologically, this amethyst geode formed over millions of years in volcanic cavities. Initially, microcrystalline quartz layers deposited as agate. In later phases, iron-bearing quartz crystallized into amethyst under specific temperature conditions, forming the violet druse visible today. The intensity of the color depends on the iron content and the natural radiation during growth.
This formation preserves a completed natural crystallization process in a concentrated, compact form. 14.9 kilograms of crystallized Earth history with clear structural coherence.

No delivery or shipping takes place on Sundays and public holidays.

Shipping methods by region and weight

We ship worldwide via FedEx or UPS.

In Germany and Europe, we ship with DHL up to 25 kg.

For shipments over 25 kg, shipping in Germany and Europe is via FedEx or UPS.

Very heavy or bulky items are shipped by freight forwarder. In this case, we will coordinate the delivery with you in advance.

Returns and Cancellations

If you change your mind, you can return your order within the statutory right of withdrawal.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from receipt of the goods.

Please return items unused, complete, and well-packaged, if possible, so that they arrive safely.

The costs of the return are generally borne by the buyer, as far as legally permissible and not otherwise agreed.

Once your return has been received and checked, we will refund the purchase amount via the original payment method.

Damaged or incorrect delivery
