Our Helichrysum Impepho from South Africa, grown on our farm near Plettenberg Bay along the Garden Route. In this unspoiled region, far from large industrial facilities, ports, or airports, the plants thrive under particularly clear environmental conditions.
We hand-harvest the plant, gently dry it, and traditionally bind it into smudge sticks. We completely forgo pesticides or chemical treatment. This preserves the original scent of the plant, and each bundle remains an authentic natural product.
Helichrysum Impepho has been used for centuries for smudging and for the energetic cleansing of rooms, gemstones, and personal items. Many people use it to create a calm atmosphere, bring new energy into their spaces, or accompany rituals.
