Sustainable

Our white sage is harvested and processed sustainably and with great care on our farm near Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route in South Africa. It is harvested by hand in small quantities, allowing the plants to regenerate naturally and ensuring the environment is protected. Production takes place under fair conditions and with respect for nature and the people involved in the processing.

Origin

Our white sage comes directly from our own farm near Plettenberg Bay on South Africa’s Garden Route, where it is harvested by hand and traditionally tied into bundles. The plants grow completely naturally, without the use of pesticides or chemical treatments. Thanks to its remote location, far from industry, major ports and airports, the sage thrives in a particularly unspoilt and clean environment.

Distinctive feature

Unlike classic amethyst, pink amethyst does not display the typical deep violet colour, but rather delicate shades of pink to lavender, which are caused by fine inclusions such as haematite and goethite, as well as iron within the crystal lattice, and which give it its particular rarity and radiance.
