Product Description
Product Description
This impressive amethyst egg combines natural geode structure with an elegant presentation. On the outside, the polished surface reveals characteristic agate banding, while inside, a deep violet amethyst druse opens up, its densely grown crystals sparkling intensely in the light.
Such formations develop over long geological periods within volcanic rocks. In cavities of cooled lava rock, mineral-rich solutions are deposited, from which quartz gradually crystallizes. Under certain conditions, trace elements color the quartz violet – thus creating amethyst. The crystals grow from the inner walls of the cavity towards the center, forming the typical druse structure.
For this object, such a natural geode was shaped into a harmonious egg form. Thanks to precise processing, the original crystal structure is fully preserved, while the outer form creates a calm, balanced overall impression.
The high-quality stand allows for an elegant presentation and particularly highlights the natural structure.
The contrast between the smoothly polished outer surface and the exposed crystal center gives this piece extraordinary depth and makes it a special collector's item.
The amethyst geode comes from Uruguay, a region renowned worldwide for particularly color-intensive and high-quality amethyst deposits.
Since each geode grew under natural conditions, every piece differs in crystal structure, color intensity, and inner form – each egg is a true one-of-a-kind natural creation.
