This 171-kilogram amethyst double geode features an exceptionally clear, figurative mirrored structure. The two cut geode halves form a silhouette reminiscent of two horse bodies facing away from each other. Such naturally occurring, clearly legible formations are rare and significantly enhance the object's uniqueness.
The deep purple crystal centers run vertically, strengthening the effect of the two body shapes. The agate banding frames each half, revealing the geological growth phases. The balance between the dark crystal core, the light peripheral zone, and the massive matrix creates a coherent, monumental overall effect.
In this weight class, such harmonious mirroring with a clear figurative effect is not a given. With increasing size, the probability of a structurally stable and visually balanced formation decreases significantly. It is precisely this combination of mass, symmetry, and figurative readability that makes this specimen exceptional.
Geologically, the formation originated in a volcanic cavity that filled with silicate-rich solutions over millions of years. First, agate layers formed, then iron-containing quartz crystallized into amethyst, developing the purple druses. The central cut reveals this completed growth process and exposes the mirrored structure visible today.

No delivery or shipping takes place on Sundays and public holidays.

We ship worldwide via FedEx or UPS.

In Germany and Europe, we ship with DHL up to 25 kg.

For shipments over 25 kg, shipping in Germany and Europe is via FedEx or UPS.

Very heavy or bulky items are shipped by freight forwarder. In this case, we will coordinate the delivery with you in advance.

Returns and Cancellations

If you change your mind, you can return your order within the statutory right of withdrawal.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from receipt of the goods.

Please return items unused, complete, and well-packaged, if possible, so that they arrive safely.

The costs of the return are generally borne by the buyer, as far as legally permissible and not otherwise agreed.

Once your return has been received and checked, we will refund the purchase amount via the original payment method.
