BLUE FORTRESS is an exceptional cavansite crystal specimen from Maharashtra, India. The intensely blue to turquoise-blue colored cavansite crystals are nestled protectively within a natural, almost cave-like matrix, creating a particularly strong color contrast.

At the center of the specimen are several densely grown cavansite aggregates with intense color and fine crystal structure. The darker outer part of the matrix forms a striking frame, while light accompanying minerals add additional accents.

The natural form of the specimen is particularly exciting: The matrix partially encloses the blue crystals like a small rock opening, giving the piece exceptional spatial depth. Depending on the viewing angle, new crystal faces and structures become visible.

Weighing 279 g and with a height of approx. 60 mm, BLUE FORTRESS has an attractive presentation size and is perfectly suited for a high-quality mineral collection, display case, or as a special showcase piece.

Due to its natural crystal formation and individual shape, BLUE FORTRESS is a unique one-of-a-kind piece.
