Compact, elegant, and particularly high in contrast.

This exceptional amethyst geode from Uruguay captivates with an open, soft violet crystal surface and a striking light calcite formation in the upper area. The calcite surfaces appear almost like a natural crown and beautifully stand out from the delicate lavender and lilac hues of the amethyst.

Especially intriguing are the fine dark tourmaline accents that appear on and between the light calcite areas. They add additional depth to the piece and create a strong natural contrast. The visible agate and rock banding at the lower edge harmoniously frames the mineral ensemble and emphasizes the original character of this unique specimen.

With a weight of 1,219 g, a height of 9 cm, and a width of 12 cm, this piece has a beautiful, broad presence – ideal as an eye-catcher on a shelf, sideboard, desk, or as a special highlight of a crystal and mineral collection.
